1. Park the machine on a level surface, lower any attachment to the ground, set
the key switch to the O
2. Remove the hood.
3. Ensure that the parking brake is disengaged.
4. Remove the flange nut and compression spring from the bottom of each
brake link.
5. Move the brake lever forward and remove the fasteners securing the brake
links to the brake shaft. Remove the brake links from the machine.
6. Remove the fasteners securing the flange bearings and switch bracket (left
side only) then remove the bearings and brake shaft from the machine.
7. Continue to remove the parking brake linkage components as needed.
