The pump drive belt transfers power from the engine to the hydraulic pump
assemblies. The pump drive belt tension is controller by a spring loaded
tensioner assembly secured to the engine crankcase.
Refer to
Figure 14
for this procedure.
1. Remove the pump drive belt; refer to the traction unit Operator's Manual.
2. Remove the belt shield.
3. Remove the exhaust system; refer to
4–16).
4. Remove the fasteners securing the muffler bracket and the tensioner
assembly to the engine, then remove the muffler bracket and tensioner
assembly from the machine.
5. Disassemble the tensioner as necessary.
