Installing the Wheel Motor
Hydraulic System: Service and Repairs

toFigure 53
for this procedure.
1. Lubricate new O-rings and place them onto the fittings. If previously removed,
install the fittings into the motor ports; refer to
(SAE Straight Thread O-Ring Fittings) (page
2. Secure the wheel motor to the frame with the previously removed fasteners.
3. Remove the caps and plugs from the hydraulic fittings and hydraulic tubes
then install the hydraulic tubes; refer to
(O-Ring Face Seal Fitting) (page
Note: Install the lower hydraulic tubes first, then fill the wheel motor housing
with clean hydraulic fluid before installing the remaining hydraulic tubes.
4. Secure the brake link to the brake actuator with the previously removed
fasteners.
5. Adjust the parking brake linkage; refer to
Linkage (page
7–3).
6. Install the rear wheel; refer to
(page
7–5).
7. Charge the hydraulic system; refer to
5–55).
8. Adjust the traction speed; refer to
