Installing the Piston (Traction) Pump (continued)

A. Fit the key into the pump shaft.
B. Apply a thin coating of anti-seize lubricant to the pump shaft.
C. Install the pump pulley with the pulley hub forward and the face of the
hub flush with the end of the pump shaft.
D. Apply a medium strength thread locking compound (Loctite 242 or
equivalent) to the set screws and install the set screws.
E. Tighten the set screws from 15 to 20 N·m (136 to 184 in-lbs).
