Installing the Engine

1. Positive (+) battery cable
2. Machine wire harness
3. Negative (-) battery cable
11. Remove the fasteners that secure the engine to the chassis.
Use an appropriate lift and the lifting lugs provided to prevent the
engine from falling and causing personal injury or product damage.
The weight of the engine is approximately 43 kg (94 lb).
12. Carefully remove the engine assembly from the machine.
13. Drain the engine crankcase and remove the oil drain valve if necessary.
Refer to Figure 15 for this procedure.
1. Ensure that all parts that were removed from the engine during maintenance
are properly installed. If the oil drain valve was removed from the engine,
install the drain valve finger tight then tighten the valve an additional 1-1/2
to 2-1/2 revolutions.
Use an appropriate lift and the lifting lugs provided to prevent the
engine from falling and causing personal injury or product damage.
The weight of the engine is approximately 43 kg (94 lb).
