Installing the Fuel Tank

Refer to Figure 10 for this procedure.
1. Install any previously removed fuel tank assembly components.
2. If the fuel filter or shutoff valve was removed, ensure that the arrow on the
filter or valve body indicating fuel flow points toward the engine.
3. Position the fuel tank assembly securely over the mounting bumper.
4. Install the previously removed clamp and fasteners to the top of the tank.
5. Connect any disconnected hoses and secure them with hose clamps as
noted.
6. Fill the fuel tank with clean fuel and start the engine. Check the fuel hoses
and fittings for leaks and repair any fuel leaks before returning the machine
to service.
