Removing a T4000 Console or Auxiliary Cable

To remove a serial cable connected to a management console or auxiliary device (see
Figure 91 on page
252):
Attach an electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding strap to your bare wrist, and connect

the strap to one of the site ESD points on the chassis.
Turn off the power to the console or auxiliary device.
2.
Unscrew the screws that secure the cable connector to the port, using a 2.5-mm

flat-blade screwdriver if necessary.
Pull the cable connector straight out of the port.
4.
Disconnect the cable from the console or auxiliary device.
