Removing the T4000 Control Boards

The router has one or two control boards, located in the upper rear of the chassis in the
slots marked

To remove the control boards (see
Place an electrostatic bag or antistatic mat on a flat, stable surface.

Attach an electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding strap to your bare wrist, and connect

the strap to an approved site ESD grounding point. See the instructions for your site.
Loosen the captive screws on the ejector handles on both sides of the control board

Flip the ejector handles outward to unseat the control board.
4.
Grasp the ejector handles, and slide the control board about halfway out of the chassis.
5.
Place one hand underneath the control board to support it, and slide it completely

out of the chassis. Place it on the antistatic mat.
