Modifying and Testing the Oximeter
8. Press the ADJUST UP button repeatedly until the SPD alarm threshold cycles from 2 to 3, from
3 to OFF, and back to 1.
9. Press the SELECT softkey three times. Confirm the Pulse Rate Delay feature is selected.
10. Confirm the Pulse Rate Delay is set to OFF.
11. Press the ADJUST UP button repeatedly until the Pulse Rate Delay alarm threshold cycles from
OFF through 5, 10, and back to OFF.
12. Press the ON/STANDBY button to turn the oximeter off.
13. Press the ON/STANDBY button to turn the oximeter back on.
14. Press the LIMITS softkey.
15. Verify SatSeconds indicates an alarm limit of "100, " Saturation Pattern Detection (SPD)
indicates a sensitivity setting of "1, " and Pulse Rate Delay is OFF.
16. Press the ON/STANDBY button to turn the oximeter off.
