Oximeter Preventive Maintenance
To perform a baseline functional check:
1. Perform the electrical safety tests detailed in Modifying and Testing the Oximeter,
page 103. If the unit fails the tests, refer to Ordering Oximeter Spare Parts, page 161.
2. Inspect the external fuses for proper value and rating (F1 + F2 = 0.5 amp,
250 volts).
