Obtaining Technical Assistance

For technical information and assistance, to order parts, or to order an N-600x Service
Manual, contact Nellcor's Technical Services Department at1.800.635.5267 or your
local Nellcor representative. The N-600x Service Manual includes block diagrams,
schematics, and a parts list required by qualified personnel when servicing the
oximeter.
When calling Nellcor's Technical Services Department, or your local Nellcor
representative, have the oximeter serial number, as well as the firmware version
number of your oximeter.
The firmware version appears in the oximeter display each time the oximeter
successfully completes the power-on self-test. Write the number down and have it
available whenever requesting technical assistance.

Returning your Oximeter

Contact Nellcor's Technical Services Department at 1.800.635.5267 or your local
Nellcor representative for shipping instructions, including a Returned Goods
Authorization (RGA) number. Unless otherwise instructed by Nellcor's Technical
Services Department, it is not necessary to return the sensor or other accessory items
with the oximeter. Pack the oximeter in its original shipping carton. If the original
carton is not available, use a suitable carton with the appropriate packing material to
protect it during shipping. See Packing the Oximeter for Shipment, page 184.
Return the oximeter by any shipping method that provides proof of delivery.
