Testing connection to gatekeeper (sending ping)

You can test to see whether the (alternative) gatekeepers which have been set up can be
reached via their IP addresses.
Press the "menu" function key.
Scroll to the menu item Settings . Confirm selection.
Scroll to the menu item IP settings . Confirm selection.
Scroll to the menu item Network settings . Confirm selection.
Scroll to the menu item Send ping . Confirm selection.
A list of gatekeepers is displayed.
Scroll to the gatekeeper you want, for example Alt GK1 . Confirm selection.
The telephone sends a ping to the IP address. If the connection is made, the message "Ping
OK" appears.
Note: If you want to send a ping to a particular IP address, select the menu item IP address
in the menu Send ping . After confirming of this you can enter the IP address of your choise.
