2 Service operation
Adding a gatekeeper to the GK list:
The procedure for this is described in chapter 2.41 (→ p. 56).
Note:
•
The gatekeepers list will not include any alternative gatekeepers "Alt GKs" which may
exist and which were specified for reasons of dropout protection (via web terminal, for
example).
Changing gatekeepers:
The telephone is logged in at the default gatekeeper.
Press the gatekeepers list function key:
Scroll to the gatekeeper you want, for example Gatekeeper 2 . Confirm selection.
The "User login" window now opens.
... Enter internal extension number.
Scroll to the menu item PIN .
... Enter PIN (max. 10 digits).
Confirm selection.
The T3 IP telephone is logged out by the default gatekeeper. The user is now logged in to
the new gatekeeper under the specified extension number.
In all settings the new gatekeeper becomes the default gatekeeper (if this new default gate-
keeper supplies the addresses of the alternative gatekeepers, these will also change in the
settings!). The old default gatekeeper is added to the gatekeepers list.
