2 Service Operations

2.29.2.1 Installation

– Turn the T3 IP telephone over. The underside of the set has a slot for plugging in the link.
– Unplug the power supply cord (the set is now dead).
– Hook the nose of the Link (at the point of the wedge shape) into the opening provided on
the base of the telephone (1).
– Press the link carefully downwards into the insertion port (2).
– Plug the power cord back in and start up.

– After the automatic test run the telephone is ready for operation again and recognizes the
inserted link.
The message "AEI/Headset link" appears on the information line (Comfort) or window
(Classic).
