Audit menu

Defaults and authorizations can be changed and various test procedures can be imple-
mented for the user. The individual menu options are listed alphabetically in the chapter
"Menu Items in Display" (→ p. 226 ).
You will require an auditor password in order to carry out auditor settings.
If the telephone which you are using was previously terminated, you should, once you quit
the audit menu, terminate it again. The telephone can be unlocked by means of the auditor
password. In the event that the set was locked within the system (E02E software and from
E03.2 onwards), you will only be able to unlock it via the system terminal. (See Service
Handbook I33, Part 2 for a more detailed description of this).
If the system is assigned a PIN with more than four digits for the lock, the local lock will also
have more than four digits. As the auditor, however, you will be able to unlock the set using
the normal PIN "1590" or "1*#3" and then pressing the OK key. After entering the PIN, you
must wait for the timer to count down. The telephone will then be unlocked.
Note:
Three unsuccessful attempts to unlock the telephone set will result in the set being
blocked for 15 minutes. You can, however, unlock it at any time using the controller pass-
word.
The audit menu will be automatically closed when no button is operated in the opened
audit menu for 5 minutes.
