Logging in to non–secure communication
A user marked as secure in the VoIP board cannot log in for non–secure communication.
A normal user can log in as usual, non–secure, at T3 IP telephones that have older hardwa-
re or software. At telephones with new Hardware Step II the only way to log on for non–se-
cure communication consistes in leaving the PIN input field empty. If he logs on using a PIN,
automatically he has secure communication.

Secure communication display

In C–package step III and higher, secure communication can be displayed in the IP phone's
status menu ("secure communication"). Settings can be made in the blocked features list of
the audit menu (→ S. 185).
