2.29.2 AEI/Headset–Link
T3 AEI/Headset link can only be used with Level II hardware.
This has two applications interfaces:
The following additional devices may be attached to interface 1 (AEI–XY interface; AEI
socket):
- T3 DSS module
- Switch contact module
- Headset
- External hands–free unit
- Second handset
- Logger
Interface 2 (headset interface; → p. 202) is provided for connecting a headset.
Important information
The AEI/Headset link may only be inserted into the T3 set if it is isolated from the power
supply. The power supply cable nor any external power supplies are not to be in–
serted. Additional devices may only be connected after the Link has been inserted.
T3 IP Comfort: To prevent damage, the display flap must be closed off towards the keypad
when links are plugged in or removed!
