Setting up VIP functions
Overview of use of VIP functions
With the setting "Receive VIP functions authorized" enabled on the outer office telephone,
you must specify in the menu option "Set VIP partner" in the VIP menu those subscribers
from whom you wish to receive VIP calls ("receive from user") either from the phone book or
the destination key assignment.
With the setting "Send VIP functions authorized" enabled on the executive telephone, you
must specify in the menu option "Set VIP partner" in the VIP menu those subscribers to
whom you wish to send VIP attributes ("send to user") and which VIP attribute is to be sent
to this subscriber, either from the phone book or the destination key assignment.
For the setting "Receive VIP: all calls" it is not necessary to specify the VIP subscribers.
With the setting "Send VIP functions: off" no VIP attributes are sent from the executive tele-
phone.
When "Receive VIP functions: off" is set, no further VIP attributes will be evaluated on the
outer office telephone.
