Set up outer office telephone
– Enable the function "Announcement with ackn."
in the barred features list.
– Switch menu item "Send VIP functions" to "Au
thorized" in order to switch on VIP function in
incoming direction.
– Select menu option "Set VIP partner".
– „Select "Entry from phone book" or "Entry from
dest. key assignment"
– Select the subscriber from which the VIP attri–
bute should be received.
– For this subscriber set the function
"Receive from User" to "On".
This user is now identified as "Executive tele–
phone".
– If desired, mark further entries as executive
telephone.
Remark: If the menu item "Receive VIP func-
tions" is set to "all callers" then no VIP subscriber
needs to be specified.
