Scenario 1: Executive wishes to use his/her telephone as a two–way intercom system to the outer office

Setting up the executive telephone
– Switch menu item "Send VIP functions" to "Au
thorized", in order to activate VIP functions in
send direction.
– Select menu option "Set VIP partner".
– Select "Entry from phone book" or "Entry from
dest. key assignment".
– Select the subscriber to which the VIP attribute
should be sent.
– For this subscriber select the function "Send to
user".
– Select the attribute "Announce&Ackn.", which
is to be sent to called subscribers.
– If desired, mark further entries in the telephone
book as outer office telephone.
