IP specific settings – Sending PING
As a rule, the IP specific settings are made by Avaya service or your telecommunications system
manager. An overview of possible settings and procedures in the case of faults is listed below.
Press the "Menu" function key.
Confirm selection.
Scroll to the menu item
Confirm selection.
Scroll to the network component for which you would like to test availability, e.g.
Confirm selection. A message window will then inform you whether the network component
was reached or not.
Note
IP ID
Under you can enter an IP address for which you would like to test the availability.
