DHCP server

2.20.1
Released DHCP server
The following DHCP servers have been tested and released for the issuing of IP addresses
for IP telephones:
1. Microsoft Windows NT Server (Service Pack 6)
2. Microsoft Windows 2000 Server (Service Pack 2)
3. Microsoft Windows 2003 Server
No error–free operations can be guaranteed when using other DHCP servers.
2.20.2
DHCP options supported in the IP Telephone
Sending end:
1. Class ID Option (code = 60):
Value permanently set to 0x4 0x81 0x7 as the code for an Avaya device.
2. IP Address Lease Time Option (Code = 51):
The bootstrap sends the maximum value at request: 0xffffffff
The image which then runs sends the value which the bootstrap had previously negotiated.
3. Maximum DHCP Message Type Option (Code = 57):
Maximum length for the DHCP responses of the DHCP server
Value fixed at 576 bytes.
4. Parameter request list option (Code = 55):
The following options are set as "requested as in the DHCP server responses":
