2 Service Operations
List of VIP attributes to be programmed on the executive telephone:
- Off: no VIP functions at the outer office telephone
- On: VIP ring tone
- With announcement: announcement (monitoring) is activated on the outer office tele-
phone.
- Announcement & Acknowledgement: announcement (monitoring) and hands–free are
activated on the outer office telephone.
For this, however, the setting "Announcement with acknowledgement" (→ p. 160) has to
be enabled in the barred features list in the audit menu.
If this is not the case, then the incoming call will only activate monitoring.
The menu option "Receive VIP functions" in the VIP menu is the same as "receive VIP func-
tions" in the T3 IP Classic.
The setting "Receive from user", which is used for specifying VIP subscribers, is the same
as the "Receive from user function" with T3 IP Classic.
The setting "Send to user", which is used for specifying VIP subscribers, is the same in
"Send to User" in T3 IP Classic.
