2.29.7.7 Connecting a switch contact module

The switching–contact module permits operation from the T3 terminals of switching func-
tions, e.g. of a door device or a second alarm with their own power supply.
In the barred features list, enable the function "Switch Contact".
With the T3 IP Comfort Switch contact is enabled on principle.
The function of the switch contact must be configured via the user menu.
- Door Device
The "Door" function must be assigned to a function key for the user. The handset and the
function key "Door device" switch the contact.
- F key (T3 IP Comfort: Function key)
The "Door" function must be assigned to a function key for the user.
Only the function key "Door device" switches the contact.
- Alarm (T3 IP Comfort: Second alarm)
The second alarm switches the contact to the ringing rhythm of the first call.
WARNING:
In accordance with safety standard EN60950, the switch contact may only switch extra–low
safety voltages (SELV).
Maximum switched voltage: 60 V
Maximum switched current: 150 mA
The switch contact module is connected to the AEI–Y interface of the AEI/Headset link and
must be supplied by its own plug–in power supply unit.
