2GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM – SFI SYSTEM
(a) Disconnect the C52 oxygen sensor connector (Bank 1
Sensor 2) or C51 oxygen sensor connector (Bank 2
sensor 2).
(b) Turn the ignition switch on (IG).
(c) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the
table below.

(d) Turn the engine switch off.
(e) Disconnect the C55 ECM connector.
(f) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the
+B
table below.
Standard resistance (Check for open)

Standard resistance (Check for short)
HT1B (C52-1) or HT1B (C55-48) - Body ground
OX1B (C52-3) or OX1B (C55-88) - Body ground
E2 (C52-4) or EX1B (C55-65) - Body ground
HT2B (C51-1) or HT2B (C55-47) - Body ground
OX2B (C51-3) or OX2B (C55-87) - Body ground

(g) Reconnect the HO2 sensor connector.
(h) Reconnect the ECM connector.
