2GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM – SFI SYSTEM
(a) Disconnect the C5 throttle body connector.
(b) Disconnect the C55 ECM connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the
table below.
Standard resistance (Check for open)
Standard resistance (Check for short)
M+ (C5-2) or M+ (C55-19) - Body ground
M-
M- (C5-1) or M- (C55-18) - Body ground
(d) Reconnect the throttle body connector.
(e) Reconnect the ECM connector.

(a) Check for foreign objects between the throttle valve and
the housing.

(a) Check if the throttle valve opens and closes smoothly.
