CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - ECM)
Wire Harness Side:
Main Body ECU

A55 ECM Connector

GO TO SMART KEY SYSTEM
2GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM – SFI SYSTEM
(a) Disconnect the E6 main body ECU connector.
(b) Disconnect the A55 ECM connector.
(c) Measure the resistance between the terminals.
Standard resistance (Check for open)
Tester Connection
STSW (E9-4) - STSW (A55-14)
Standard resistance (Check for short)
Tester Connection
STSW (E9-4) or STSW (A55-14) - Body ground
(d) Reconnect the main body ECU connector.
(e) Reconnect the ECM connector.
