REPLACE ECM (See page ES-481)
2GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM – SFI SYSTEM
(a) Disconnect the C42 or C46 OCV connector.
(b) Disconnect the C55 ECM connector.
(c) Measure the resistance between the terminals.
Standard resistance (Check for open)
Tester Connection
OE1+ (C55-16) - C42-1
OE1- (C55-17) - C42-2
OE2+ (C55-14) - C46-1
OE2- (C55-15) - C46-2
Standard resistance (Check for short)
Tester Connection
OE1+ (C55-16) or C42-1 - Body ground
OE1- (C55-17) or C42-2 - Body ground
OE2+ (C55-14) or C46-1 - Body ground
OE2- (C55-15) or C46-2 - Body ground
(d) Reconnect the ECM connector.
(e) Reconnect the OCV connector.
