Open a browser on a computer connected to the network.
Type in the IP address of the Cisco Unified Communications Manager. Enter the required information

at the login screen.
Step 3
Go to Device > Phone and find the phone you are replacing.
In the Cisco Unified Communications Manager interface, enter the new MAC address for the

replacement IP phone and press Save.
Step 5
Unplug the Ethernet cable from the back of the current Cisco IP phone and set the phone aside.
Plug the Ethernet cable into the new IP phone and place it in the same location on the tabletop as the old
Step 6
phone.
Cisco Unified Communications Manager may download a new version of the phone software.
When the phone has completed its booting and upgrade, perform a reset on the
Cisco TelePresence System from the Cisco Unified Communications Manager device page.

If the new IP phone has not displayed a ready screen within five minutes, refer to the Cisco TelePresence
Troubleshooting GuideOL-11293-01.
Note
When you set up the Cisco Unified IP Phone, make sure that the parameter Alternative TFTP is set to
the default setting of NO.
Replacing the Projector Lamp—Part Number
CTS-PRJTR-BL-GEN1
A likely cause of a malfunctioning projector is a burnt-out projector lamp. The life of the light bulb is
approximately 2000 hours. Cisco does not stock this lamp but you can order it from a variety of outside
vendors. The Sanyo part number is POA-LMP94.
Power off the projector by turning off the power switch on the back of the unit.

Allow the project to cool down for at least 45 minutes, or wear heat-resistant gloves during the

replacement process.
Unplug the HD Video cable, power cable, and serial cable from the rear of the unit.
Step 3
Loosen the six screws that attach the projector assembly to the tabletop.
