Mainshaft Bearing and Oil Seal Replacement
Special Tools Required

1. Remove the differential assembly,
2 . R e m o v e t h e b a l l b e a r i n g ( A ) f r o m t h e c l u t c h
h o u s i n g ( B ) u s i n g t h e s p e c i a l t o o l a n d a
c o m m e r c i a l l y a v a i l a b l e 3 / 8 " - l 6 s l i d e h a m m e r ( C ) .
Remove the oil seal (A) from the clutch side. Be
careful when removing the seal so the clutch
h o u s i n g i s n o t d a m a g e d .

Drive the new oil seal in from the transmission side
using the special tools.

Drive the new ball bearing (A) in from the
t r a n s m i s s i o n s i d e u s i n g t h e s p e c i a l t o o l .
