Fuel Pressure Regulator
Replacement
R e m o v e t h e f u e l p u m p ( s e e p a g e 1 1 - 1 5 3 ) .
Remove the fuel pressure regulator (A).
Installthe part in the reverse order of removal with
a n e w o - r i n g ( B ) .

Fuel Filter Replacement
The fuel filter should be replaced whenever the fuel
pressure drops belowthe specified value {270 320 kpa,
2.8 3.3 kgf lcm', 40 47 psi), after making sure that the
fuel pump and the fuel pressure regulator are OK.

base gasket (B) and a new o-ring (C), then check
these items:
' When connecting the wire harness, make sure
the connection is secure and the terminal (D) is
firmly locked into place.
. W h e n i n s t a l l i n g t h e f u e l g a u g e s e n d i n g u n i t i E ) ,
make sure the connection is secure and the
connector is firmly locked into place. Be careful
not to bend or twist it excessively.
