Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the EVAP bypass solenoid valve 2P
connecror.
Check for continuity between EVAP bypass
solenoid valve 2P connector terminal No. 2 and
body ground.

ls there continuity?
YES Go to step 18.
NO-Repair open in the wire bet\iveen the EVAP
bypass solenoid valve and the ECM (E20).1

Measure voltage between EVAP bypass solenoid
valve 2P connector terminal No. 1 and body ground.

Wire side ol lemale terminals
ls there battery voltage?
YES Replace the EVAP two way/bypass solenoid
v a l v e ( A ) . 1
NO-Repair open in the wire between the EVAP
bypass solenoid valve and the No. 4 ACG (10A)
