6. Measure the thlckness of 4th gear.

limit, replace 4th gear with a new one.

Service Limit:
23.80 mm (0.937 in.)

( A ) a n d s t h g e a r ( B ) w i t h a d i a l i n d i c a t o r ( C ) . l f t h e
clearance is more than the service limit. go to step

steD 10.

(0.002-0.006 in.)

0.25 mm (0.010 in.)
