Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI)

Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) is a widely use serial interconnect. Many products are
available specifically to interface to SPI. One of the most common uses of SPI is to
store boot code or data storage. Some other common applications store board revision,
serial numbers, or assembly information.
