HP-RTL Command List
Command Command Meaning and function
Starts processing the following data as
ESC % # B
an HP-GL2 command.
ESC % # A Starts processing the following data as
an HP-RTL command.
ESC E 1. Outputs the data received so far.
2. Executes the HP-GL2 IN command.
3. Returns HP-RTL CAP to (0,0).
4. Sets the controller to the HP RTL
parsing mode.
5. Terminates the raster mode.
ESC % #x|X 1. Outputs all data input before this
command.
2. Returns the controller to the HP-GL2
or HP RTL parsing mode.
ESC & B # Sets communication with the Apple Talk
W[binary data] driver.
ESC * v # Sets up the controller as a color controller

1. Determine each index bit and creates a
color palette.
