Outline of Scanner Functions

The 6030/6050 Wide Format Copier/Printer offers three different functions: printer,
copier and integrated scanner.
The following two modes are available when using it as the scanner.
Scanner Mode
This mode allows the scanner to be used independently of other units. The scanner scans
images and transmits the data to the host PC. The functions required for setting the
parameters resides in the software installed onto the host PC.
Scan and Copy Mode
This mode allows copies to be made while the scanner is being used at the same time.
The operations are the same as those explained for the copier.

Chapter 6 Scanner Functions
The files generated with the scanner are not all the same size owing to differences in
the document's image density and condition.
You need to refer to the user guide for the scanner software installed into the PC for
details on operations.

43).
