Other Copy Presets

Sets up other detailed copy presets. Enter the [Code] and [New] parameters using the
following table for reference purposes to set up the other system presets.
Code
Sets the roll/tray to feed the banner sheet.

1 Sets the length of the banner sheet.
Sets the media type for the banner sheet.

3 Sets whether or not to use the smoothing
function when printing (see note).

5 Sets the default value for the cursor ([
mark) on the control panel's [Independent
Portrait/Landscape Percentage] setup screen.
Sets whether or not to cut the media in

synchronized cut when printing sample copy.
Function
Smoothing is a function that outputs copies in a pseudo 1200 dpi format.The
smoothing function corrects jaggedness on angled lines and prints the image
smoothly. This can be set up separately for both copying and printing. There are cases
where halftone areas are printed darker than usual when the smoothing function is
used.
