3.3

Copying from the Memory

It is possible to reprint the most recently copied document with the use of the [Copy
from Memory] function.
A complete set of sorted copies will be reprinted if the most recent job involved sort
copying.
The [Copy from Memory] function cannot be used with the following operations or
statuses.
When the <Clear All> key has been pressed or when in the automatic reset mode.
When the power has been switched off or the power saving mode has been
activated.
When a subsequent document has been inserted.
When the scanner mode has been activated.
When interruption copying has been carried out.
When the edit mode for the custom presets function has been activated.
The [Copy from Memory] function cannot be used in the following situations.
When the scanned image exceeds the capacity of the memory.
When the prior image no longer remains in the memory owing to paper jams or
other problems.
• The media cut method cannot be changed when copying from the memory.
• The copy from memory function and the sample copy function cannot be used at
the same time.
• Copying from memory is not possible when sorted program copying or multi-job
copying has been performed.
• If the <Clear All> key is pressed when copying from memory, the default settings
will return to the settings configured before the copy from memory function was
activated, not to the initial settings for copying specified with the custom presets
function.
