Chapter 18 Troubleshooting
Has the image density been set too dark?
Decrease the density level. If the problem is not recovered,
contact your Service Representative.

density (page 62).
Is the density of the document light?
Has the image density been set too light?
Increase the density level.
Refer to "4.9 Adjusting Image Density" for details on image
density (page 62).
Has the paper become damp?
Certain areas of a document will not be reproduced and there
will be a loss of sharpness if the paper is damp. Replace the
paper with paper from an unopened package. If the problem is
not recovered, contact your Service Representative.

Was the document aligned with the document insertion guide on
the document table?
Insert the document correctly aligned with the document
insertion guide.
