Chapter 19 Clearing Paper Jams
Steps 1 and 5 are required when using the combination unit.

Lift up the scanner document table until it is
locked and cannot be closed.

Open the cover of the manual insertion unit.

Pull the jammed paper towards the front of the
manual insertion guide to remove it. Make sure
no paper remains inside the machine.
Avoid damaging the paper.
