Selecting Background Suppression

This function suppresses or erases the background for copy purposes.
The larger the value specified, the more the background is suppressed, and the smaller
the value specified, the less the background is suppressed.

Enables the level of suppression to be selected from seven settings
between [Minimum] and [Maximum].
Enables the level of suppression to be selected from thirty-nine
settings between [Minimum] and [Maximum].
This allows fine adjustments when the difference between the
document's image and the background is small.
There are cases where background level is difficult to detect automatically. Please
make sure to refer to the following section "Directions for using the [Background
Suppression]".
