Operation Flow for Manually Fed Copies

Manual feeding is used when copying onto paper that is not loaded in the paper
drawer or that is not commonly used.
Up to 70 sheets of A3 portrait or A4 20lb. Bond portrait/landscape paper can be
loaded. Paper other than these should be loaded by each sheet.

• The optional (MSI) Multi Sheet Inserter/Manual Feed Unit is required when
making manually fed copies.
• Standard paper having the width of 297 to 914 mm and the length of 210 to
2,000 mm can be used if the (MSI) Multi Sheet Inserter/Manual Feed Unit is
installed.
The auto mode cannot be used when making manually fed copies. The folder function
also cannot be used.
Open the manual feed table and set the paper in place.
Refer to the User Guide for details on loading paper in the manual feed table.
Press the <Tray 5 (Manual Feed)> key on the control panel.
