Documents
This section explains the range of documents that can be used and their method of usage.
There is a chance that the scanning area will become soiled if documents to which glue
or adhesive tape have been stuck, or documents on which corrective fluids have been
used, are placed in the copier.
Take extreme caution when using stick-type glue or glue spray.
Streaks may appear on copies if the scanning area becomes soiled.

: 2.5 mm or less for non-transparent and half-transparent paper. Flat
paper.
: If you use documents that have been folded, wrinkled, perforated
or have holes punched in them, jams are more likely to occur.
When rolled documents are to be used, ensure that the diameter of
the rolled document is 40 mm or larger.
Rolled documents with a diameter of less than 40 mm must be
flattened out.
When copies must be made from the following types of documents,
use the document carrier (optional).
•
Heavily wrinkled documents
•
Heavily curled documents
•
Documents that have been perforated, creased or have holes in
them
•
Documents to which tape has been applied
•
Documents that are stapled together
•
Documents that contain holes exceeding 25 mm
•
Documents on which there is glue or adhesive tape
