OWS/EWS functions anomaly
This part describes OWS/EWS function anomalies and corrective actions.

Problems related to top menu selection
Phenomenon
Top menu is not
displayed.
Mouse does not move.
Unable to login although
Login button is clicked.
Cause
SC is not started.
SC is not in normal mode.
Mouse is not connected to HMI.
Login ID and password are
incorrect.
SC is not started.
SC is not in normal mode.

Corrective action
Start up SC.
Check that LED (STTS1) of SC unit
lights in red. If it does not light,
restart SC.
If you use a USB mouse, insert the
connector to USB connector. If you
use a PS/2 mouse, shut down HMI
(PC), connect the mouse and then
restart HMI (PC).
Input correct login ID and password.
Be careful that upper case letters
and lower case letters are regarded
as different letters.
Start up SC.
Check that LED (STTS1) of SC unit
lights in red. If it does not light,
restart SC.
