This section describes typical failure modes and solution methods for each phenomenon related to
the SCMS (Substation Control and Monitoring System).
1. Abnormal conditions of the OWS/EWS hardware
This part describes the problems and solutions associated with abnormal conditions of the
OWS/EWS hardware.

Monitor
If you notice a strange smell or smoke coming from the Monitor, stop using immediately and unplug
the power cable from the plug socket.
Phenomenon
Unable to switch on

Nothing is displayed on
the screen

Causes
Power cable is not connected
correctly.
Connector cable is not connected
to OWS/EWS correctly.
OWS/EWS is not switched on.

mode.
