Cable from station level LAN is
not connected correctly to printer
converter.
Cable between converter and
printer not connected correctly.
Power off at the converter.
OWS/EWS is not set for
connection to a remote printer.
Remote printer is not set for use
as OWS/EWS standard printer.

Corrective action
Adjust volume.
Check cable connection.
Set OWS/EWS to maintenance
mode and select 'multimedia' in the
'control panel' of 'my computer' and
adjust the playback volume.
Unplug the headphone.
Check the Speaker Unit is correctly
connected to the OWS/EWS.
Set OWS/EWS to maintenance
mode and select 'multimedia' in the
'control panel' of 'my computer' and
adjust the playback volume.
Check cable connection.
Corrective action
Check cable connection.
Check AC power source.
Replenish paper.
Replenish toner.
Exchanges media converter
between optical cord and twisted
pair cable.
Check cable connection.
Check the power at the converter.
Set remote printer to OWS/EWS.
Set OWS/EWS to maintenance
mode and select remote printer from
'printer' in 'my computer'. Then
select 'printer' from menu bar and
check printer that is in normal use.
