Cannot Connect the Scanner to the Server with the Specified Host Name

Check the following points
● Is the host name of the server correct? (page 211)
Is the DNS server information configured correctly? (page 211)

Does the DNS server function normally? (page 212)
●
Are the scanner and server connected to the network? (page 212)
●
● Is the IP address of the scanner correct? (page 212)
● Is the IP address of the scanner used for other communication devices? (page 213)
● Have you connected another communication device with the same IP address as the scanner
to the server in the past? (page 213)
Is there a firewall device between the scanner and the server? (page 213)
●
Are the settings on the scanner that are related to the server specified correctly? (page 213)
●
Are the settings on the server specified correctly? (page 214)
●
● Are the [Network Encryption] settings the same on the scanner and the server? (page 214)
