of sheets that have actually been fed.
Password for Editing DirectScan Settings
Enable
Set a password for adding or changing the save destinations for images, the email
addresses, or the jobs when using DirectScan.
Set a password to prevent save destination paths or email addresses from being
leaked.
Change the password regularly.
The factory default setting is set to off.
When [Enable] is set to on, specify the following items:
● Password
Enter a password within 32 characters.
All characters that are available on the touch screen on the scanner can be used.
Spaces before and after the character string are maintained.
Initialize DirectScan Settings
Initializes the DirectScan settings to restore them to the factory default.
[Run] button
Restores the following DirectScan settings to the factory default.
● Save destinations for images
● Email addresses
● Jobs
● NTP server
● Settings for sending emails
● Password for editing DirectScan settings
The following settings will not be initialized.
● CA certificates
● Encryption key
Server
Configure the settings for a server, which is to be connected to the scanner.
Proxy Server
Set this item to use a proxy server.

This setting can be configured in the following cases:
● When linking the scanner to the Scanner Central Admin Server directly
