The space before or after the character string is ignored.
ATTENTION
Note that an IPv6 address is not supported.
HINT
When entering a host name, the DNS servers need to be set on the scanner.
- Port Number
The factory default setting is "22".
- Save Destination Path
The spaces before and after the character string and "/" prefix are ignored.
" " will be replaced with "/". When the first character is " ", the character will be replaced
with "/" and the leading "/" will be deleted.
- Authentication Method
Set the authentication method.
When [Public Key Algorithm] is [Disabled], specify [Password authentication].
When [Public Key Algorithm] is other than [Disabled], select one of the following:
● Password authentication
This is the factory default setting.
● Public Key Authentication
The public key algorithm used when the encryption key is generated is displayed in [Public
Key Algorithm].
This setting can be configured when an encryption key has already been generated for the
scanner.
HINT
If you are using an encryption key, you can register the key in fi Series Network Settings.

- Username
Set the user name used to connect to the save destination.
You can also set the name in the "UserName@Domain" or "Domain UserName" format.
The space before or after the character string is ignored.
- Password
This setting can be configured when [Password authentication] is selected for [Authentication
Method].
Enter the password for the user name used for connecting to the save destination.
Spaces before and after the character string are maintained.
