Press the [+] or [-] button to increase or decrease the time difference by 0.25 hours (15
minutes).
The factory default setting is "0.00".
To apply daylight saving time, adjust the time by adding the extra summer time
hour(s) to the standard time.
[Sync Time] button
Synchronizes the time with the NTP server.
When the [Sync Time] button is pressed, the screen for confirming the current time is
correct is displayed if time synchronization is successful.
● When the time is correct, press the [Yes] button.
● When the time does not match, press the [No] button and specify the current date
and time in the [Enter Current Date and Time] screen.
Send E-mail
Configure the settings for sending emails and the initial values for emails when using
DirectScan.
Enable
Configure this setting to send emails.
The factory default setting is set to off.
When [Enable] is set to on, specify the following items:
SMTP Server
Set the server for sending and receiving emails.
The host name, FQDN, or IP address can be set for this item.
The space before or after the character string is ignored.
ATTENTION
Note that an IPv6 address is not supported.
HINT
When entering a host name, the DNS servers need to be set on the scanner.
Port Number
Depending on the setting for [Encryption], the initial value changes as follows:
● When [Encryption] is [None], specify "25".
● When [Encryption] is [TLS], the initial value is "465".
The factory default setting is "25".
